SECTION 1: GENERAL DISCLAIMER
By accessing, reading, using, or otherwise engaging with any content, materials, courses, certifications, educational resources, or services provided by Halethia, its websites, its mobile applications, its printed materials, its digital platforms, its social media accounts, its practitioners, its Wellness Advocates, or any affiliated entity or individual acting on behalf of or in association with Halethia (collectively referred to as “Halethia” throughout this disclaimer), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions in their entirety.
This disclaimer applies to all Halethia platforms and content including but not limited to: the Halethia website (Halethia.com), any associated websites within the Halethia ecosystem (including but not limited to Chefts.com, Grandmaws.com, Priey.com, and any future affiliated domains), all course materials within the 12-Level Halethia Wellness Certification Program, all educational documents and research materials within the “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” series, all printed handouts, recipe cards, brochures, and educational materials distributed by Halethia or its certified practitioners, all digital content including videos, audio recordings, podcasts, social media posts, email communications, and newsletters, all in-person educational sessions, coaching sessions, aromatic application sessions, and wellness experiences facilitated by Halethia-certified Wellness Advocates, and any future content, platforms, or services developed under the Halethia name or its affiliated brands.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS DISCLAIMER IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE USING ANY HALETHIA CONTENT OR SERVICES. YOUR USE OF ANY HALETHIA CONTENT CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS.
SECTION 2: INFORMATION ACCURACY AND VERIFICATION
Halethia is committed to providing accurate, well-researched, and science-backed educational content. All information contained within Halethia’s platforms, courses, materials, and resources has been compiled with diligent effort to ensure accuracy, drawing from peer-reviewed scientific literature, established medical and scientific references, historical and traditional sources, and published research in the fields of aromatherapy, reflexology, nutrition, sound therapy, light therapy, hydrotherapy, exercise science, sleep science, and related wellness disciplines.
However, Halethia makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees — express or implied — regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any information provided through any Halethia platform, material, or service. While every reasonable effort has been made to ensure the information presented is current and correct at the time of publication, Halethia acknowledges the following limitations:
- Scientific understanding evolves continuously. Research findings that are considered accurate today may be revised, updated, contradicted, or superseded by future studies. Halethia content reflects the best available evidence at the time of writing and may not reflect subsequent developments.
- Information may contain inadvertent errors, omissions, or inaccuracies despite best efforts at quality control. No database, publication, or educational resource — regardless of how carefully prepared — can guarantee absolute accuracy in all statements.
- References to specific studies, statistics, compound effects, dosages, dilution ratios, protocols, and physiological mechanisms are provided for educational purposes and represent general principles. Individual responses to any substance, practice, or protocol vary significantly based on genetics, health status, medications, age, weight, allergies, pre-existing conditions, and numerous other individual factors.
- Traditional, historical, and biblical references to plants, oils, and wellness practices are presented as cultural and educational context. Historical use of a substance or practice does not constitute scientific proof of efficacy, safety, or appropriateness for any individual.
- Information about legal and regulatory frameworks (including but not limited to massage licensing, aromatherapy regulation, reflexology regulation, and state-by-state compliance) is provided as general educational guidance and reflects regulations as understood at the time of writing. Laws and regulations change. Halethia is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
Reader Responsibility:
Every reader, student, practitioner, and user of Halethia content bears personal responsibility to independently verify any information before acting upon it. This includes but is not limited to: confirming scientific claims through independent peer-reviewed sources, verifying legal and regulatory requirements with qualified legal counsel in the reader’s specific jurisdiction, consulting with qualified healthcare professionals before implementing any wellness practice, confirming the safety of any substance (including essential oils, carrier oils, herbal preparations, and nutritional recommendations) for the reader’s individual health circumstances, and verifying the current regulatory status of any practice before offering it professionally.
Halethia strongly encourages all readers to approach the information provided as a starting point for their own education — not as a final, definitive, or infallible authority on any subject. The responsibility to verify, confirm, and validate information before use rests entirely with the reader.
SECTION 3: NOT MEDICAL ADVICE — FOR EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY
HALETHIA CONTENT IS STRICTLY EDUCATIONAL. NOTHING IN ANY HALETHIA PLATFORM, MATERIAL, COURSE, OR SERVICE CONSTITUTES MEDICAL ADVICE, MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS, OR MEDICAL TREATMENT.
The information provided by Halethia — across all platforms, materials, courses, certifications, and services — is intended exclusively for general educational and informational purposes. This educational content is designed to help individuals understand how the human body functions, how natural compounds interact with physiological systems, and how various lifestyle practices may support general wellness. It is NOT intended to serve as, nor should it be interpreted as, any of the following:
- Medical advice, medical opinion, or medical recommendation of any kind.
- A recommendation, endorsement, or prescription for any medicine, medication, drug, pharmaceutical product, supplement, or therapeutic substance.
- A diagnosis, identification, or assessment of any disease, disorder, illness, injury, medical condition, or health concern.
- A treatment plan, treatment protocol, or therapeutic intervention for any disease, disorder, illness, injury, or medical condition.
- A substitute, replacement, or alternative for professional medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or other qualified healthcare provider.
- A recommendation to start, stop, change, or modify any medication, treatment, or medical protocol prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider.
- An implied or explicit promise, guarantee, or assurance of any specific health outcome, cure, healing, improvement, recovery, or therapeutic result.
Halethia does not “heal.” Halethia does not claim to heal. Halethia does not imply healing. The word “healing” when used in Halethia educational materials refers exclusively to the body’s own God-designed physiological processes — not to any action, product, substance, protocol, or service provided by Halethia or its practitioners. The human body possesses innate mechanisms for repair, recovery, and restoration. Halethia educates about these mechanisms. Halethia does not activate, direct, control, guarantee, or take credit for these mechanisms.
When Halethia content discusses how specific compounds (such as essential oils, nutrients, or light wavelengths) interact with physiological systems, this information is presented as scientific education about biological mechanisms. Such discussion does not constitute a claim that any specific substance or practice will produce a specific therapeutic outcome in any individual. Statements about compound effects (e.g., “frankincense contains boswellic acids that inhibit 5-lipoxygenase” or “cedarwood’s cedrol has been shown to increase serotonin”) describe documented biochemical interactions in published research — they are not health claims, therapeutic promises, or prescriptions. These are structure and function statements describing how substances interact with biological systems, not claims that these substances treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition.
The Reader’s Physician Is the Final Authority:
Halethia unequivocally and emphatically directs every reader, student, practitioner, and user of its content to consult with a qualified, licensed healthcare provider before implementing any practice, protocol, substance, dietary change, exercise regimen, or lifestyle modification discussed in any Halethia material. This directive applies to all readers regardless of their perceived health status, including individuals who consider themselves healthy. This directive is especially critical for individuals who:
- Are currently under the care of a physician or other healthcare provider for any condition.
- Are currently taking any prescription or over-the-counter medication, including blood thinners, anti-seizure medications, cardiac medications, psychiatric medications, hormone therapies, or any other pharmaceutical.
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
- Have a history of seizures, epilepsy, or neurological conditions.
- Have allergies or sensitivities to plants, fragrances, or topical substances.
- Have skin conditions, open wounds, or dermatological concerns.
- Have cardiovascular conditions, hypertension, or hypotension.
- Have been diagnosed with cancer or are undergoing cancer treatment.
- Have autoimmune conditions, photosensitivity disorders, or lupus.
- Have bipolar disorder, depression, or other mental health conditions.
- Have diabetes, liver disease, kidney disease, or other organ-related conditions.
- Are under the age of 18 or are making decisions on behalf of a minor.
- Are elderly or have age-related health considerations.
- Are considering any change to their current medical treatment plan.
Your physician knows your medical history, your current medications, your individual health profile, and your specific risk factors. Halethia does not. No Halethia content, no Halethia practitioner, and no Halethia educational material can substitute for the individualized medical judgment of a licensed healthcare provider who has examined you, reviewed your medical history, and understands your specific health circumstances.
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911 OR YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY NUMBER IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT RELY ON ANY HALETHIA CONTENT, PRACTITIONER, OR SERVICE IN A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.
SECTION 4: HALETHIA WELLNESS ADVOCATES AND PRACTITIONERS
Halethia’s 12-Level Wellness Certification Program trains individuals as Wellness Advocates and, upon completion of all 12 levels, as Fully Certified Halethia Wellness Practitioners. This section defines exactly what these individuals are, what they are authorized to do, and — critically — what they are prohibited from doing.
What a Halethia Wellness Advocate IS:
- An educator who shares science-backed information about wellness topics covered in the Halethia curriculum, including stillness, nutrition, aromatherapy, body systems, sound, community, emotional expression, rest, water, breath and movement, aromatic application, and light and color.
- A coach who helps individuals understand how their lifestyle choices interact with their body’s natural systems, based on the educational content within the Halethia curriculum.
- A facilitator who creates environments and experiences in which individuals can engage with wellness practices (such as aromatic application sessions, breathing exercises, nature immersion, or light-awareness education) in a safe, structured, and informed manner.
- An individual who has completed specific training and passed certification examinations within the Halethia system, demonstrating competency in the educational content of their certified level(s).
What a Halethia Wellness Advocate is NOT:
- Not a physician, doctor, nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or any form of licensed medical professional (unless they hold such credentials independently of their Halethia certification, in which case their medical credentials are separate from their Halethia role and they must not conflate the two).
- Not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, or mental health professional (unless they hold such credentials independently of their Halethia certification).
- Not a licensed nutritionist, dietitian, or dietary counselor (unless they hold such credentials independently of their Halethia certification).
- Not a licensed massage therapist. The Halethia Aromatic Application Protocol is specifically designed, named, and practiced to remain outside the legal definition of massage in all jurisdictions.
- Not a pharmacist or pharmaceutical professional. Halethia Advocates do not dispense, prescribe, or recommend medications of any kind.
- Not a licensed personal trainer or exercise physiologist (unless they hold such credentials independently).
- Not a licensed practitioner of any regulated healthcare profession (unless they hold such credentials independently).
Prohibited Conduct — Health Claims:
Halethia Wellness Advocates and Practitioners are strictly and unconditionally prohibited from making health claims of any kind. This prohibition is absolute, applies at all times (during sessions, in conversations, on social media, in written communications, in marketing materials, in text messages, in emails, and in any other form of communication), and includes but is not limited to the following:
- Diagnosing any disease, disorder, illness, condition, or health concern. An Advocate must never say, imply, suggest, or indicate that a person has any specific medical condition. Statements such as “It sounds like you have inflammation” or “That might be a thyroid issue” or “You probably have a vitamin D deficiency” are prohibited.
- Prescribing any substance, oil, supplement, food, practice, or protocol for any medical condition. An Advocate must never say, imply, suggest, or indicate that a specific substance or practice should be used to address a specific medical condition. Statements such as “Use frankincense for your arthritis” or “Take this oil for your anxiety” or “This protocol will help your blood pressure” are prohibited.
- Claiming that any substance, practice, protocol, or session will cure, treat, heal, fix, reverse, mitigate, prevent, or eliminate any disease, disorder, illness, or medical condition. Statements such as “This will heal your back pain” or “Essential oils can cure cancer” or “This protocol treats depression” are prohibited.
- Claiming that any Halethia practice or substance is equivalent to, superior to, or a replacement for conventional medical treatment. Statements such as “You don’t need that medication, try this oil instead” or “This is better than what your doctor prescribed” or “Halethia can do what medicine cannot” are prohibited.
- Advising any individual to stop, reduce, or modify any medication, treatment, or medical protocol prescribed by their licensed healthcare provider. Statements such as “You should get off those pills” or “Try reducing your medication and using oils instead” or “You won’t need that prescription once you start this protocol” are prohibited.
- Using testimonials, anecdotes, or personal experiences to imply therapeutic outcomes. Statements such as “My client’s migraines disappeared after three sessions” or “Everyone who does this protocol reports less pain” or “I stopped taking my medication after using these oils” are prohibited when used to imply that others can expect the same results.
- Using the words “massage,” “therapy,” “treatment,” “diagnose,” “cure,” “treat,” or “heal” in reference to any Halethia service, product, or practice. These words carry specific legal definitions that trigger regulatory requirements beyond the Halethia scope of practice.
What Halethia Advocates ARE Permitted to Say:
Halethia Advocates are permitted to share educational information using structure and function language that describes how substances interact with biological systems without claiming to treat specific conditions. Examples of permitted language include:
- “Frankincense contains boswellic acids, which research has shown to inhibit the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme involved in the inflammatory response.” (This is a structure/function statement describing a documented biochemical interaction.)
- “Cedarwood’s primary compound, cedrol, has been studied for its effects on serotonin and norepinephrine levels.” (This is an educational statement about published research.)
- “Morning sunlight exposure supports the body’s natural circadian rhythm and serotonin production.” (This is a structure/function statement about a well-documented physiological process.)
- “This session is for educational and relaxation purposes only. It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.” (This is the required standardized disclaimer delivered before every aromatic application session.)
The Coaching Model:
Halethia Advocates operate under a coaching model, not a clinical model. In a coaching model, the Advocate shares information, empowers the individual with knowledge, and supports the individual in making their own informed decisions. The Advocate does not direct, prescribe, diagnose, or treat. The individual retains full autonomy and responsibility for their own health decisions. The Advocate’s role is to educate — the individual’s role is to decide. The physician’s role is to provide medical care. These roles do not overlap. The Advocate never enters the physician’s domain, and the Advocate’s educational role does not diminish, replace, or compete with the physician’s medical role.
If at any time an individual presents with symptoms, complaints, or concerns that suggest a medical condition requiring professional evaluation, the Halethia Advocate must immediately refer that individual to a qualified healthcare provider. The Advocate must never attempt to assess, evaluate, interpret, or address medical symptoms. The appropriate response to any medical concern is: “I am not a medical professional. I recommend you speak with your doctor about this.”
SECTION 5: ESSENTIAL OILS, SUBSTANCES, AND PRODUCT SAFETY
Halethia educational content discusses essential oils, carrier oils, herbal preparations, nutritional information, and other natural substances. The following safety notices apply to all such content:
- Essential oils are potent, concentrated plant compounds. They are not toys, not casual fragrances, and not harmless because they are “natural.” Many essential oils can cause chemical burns if applied undiluted to the skin, allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, adverse interactions with medications, and serious harm if ingested improperly or used in excessive quantities.
- Halethia educational content about essential oils describes general properties and traditional uses as documented in published literature. This information does not constitute a recommendation to use any specific oil for any specific purpose. Individual reactions to essential oils vary widely.
- All essential oil use should be preceded by a patch test on a small area of skin. Any sign of irritation, redness, itching, or burning requires immediate application of a carrier oil (never water) and discontinuation of the offending oil.
- Certain essential oils are contraindicated during pregnancy, for individuals with epilepsy or seizure disorders, for individuals taking blood-thinning medications, for children under specific ages, and for individuals with specific medical conditions. Halethia course materials address these contraindications, but the reader must also consult with their physician before using any essential oil, particularly if they fall into any at-risk category.
- Halethia does not manufacture, produce, distribute, or sell essential oils or any other product. Any products referenced in educational materials are discussed for educational purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty of any specific brand, supplier, or product.
- Nutritional information provided in Halethia materials is general educational content about food science, nutrient compounds, and dietary principles. It does not constitute a personalized dietary plan, nutritional prescription, or dietary therapy. Individuals with food allergies, intolerances, metabolic conditions, or dietary restrictions must consult with qualified healthcare providers before making dietary changes.
SECTION 6: AROMATIC APPLICATION SESSIONS
The Halethia Aromatic Application Protocol is a proprietary method of feather-light application of essential oils along the spine combined with reflexology point work on the feet. The following notices apply to all aromatic application sessions:
- The Halethia Aromatic Application Protocol is NOT massage. It does not involve manipulation of soft tissue, deep pressure, kneading, friction, percussion, or any technique that falls within the legal definition of massage in any jurisdiction. It is aromatic application combined with reflexology — two unregulated practices in the state of Georgia and most states.
- Aromatic application sessions are provided for educational and relaxation purposes only. They do not constitute medical treatment, physical therapy, massage therapy, or any form of licensed healthcare service.
- Before every aromatic application session, the Advocate must deliver the standardized disclaimer verbally: “This session is for educational and relaxation purposes only. It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.” Verbal consent must be obtained.
- The Advocate must inquire about allergies, skin sensitivities, current medications (especially blood thinners and anti-seizure medications), pregnancy, epilepsy, and any health conditions that may affect oil selection or contraindicate the session before proceeding.
- Any individual may withdraw consent at any time during a session for any reason. The Advocate must stop immediately upon request, without question, persuasion, or delay.
- Aromatic application sessions do not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Any physiological effects experienced during or after a session (such as relaxation, improved mood, or reduced perceived stress) are the result of the body’s own response to aromatic compounds and human touch — not a therapeutic intervention by the Advocate.
- Individuals with open wounds, rashes, skin infections, severe sunburn, recent spinal surgery, active cancer involving the spine or skin of the back, fever, acute illness, or any condition that may be adversely affected by the application of essential oils to the skin should not receive aromatic application sessions without explicit physician clearance.
SECTION 7: LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Halethia, its founders, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, certified Wellness Advocates, certified Wellness Practitioners, and any individual or entity acting on behalf of or in association with Halethia shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to:
- The use of, reliance upon, or interpretation of any information provided through any Halethia platform, material, course, or service.
- Any decision made or action taken based on information obtained from Halethia content, including decisions regarding health, wellness, nutrition, essential oil use, lifestyle modifications, or any other topic addressed in Halethia materials.
- Any adverse reaction, injury, illness, or harm resulting from the use of any substance, practice, protocol, or technique discussed in Halethia educational materials or facilitated during a Halethia session.
- Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in Halethia content, regardless of the cause of such errors.
- Any loss of income, business opportunity, or professional standing resulting from reliance on Halethia legal or regulatory guidance.
- Any emotional distress, psychological impact, or interpersonal consequences arising from engagement with Halethia content or services.
The reader, student, practitioner, and user of Halethia content assumes full and complete responsibility for their own health decisions, their own use of any information obtained from Halethia, and any consequences resulting from such decisions and use. This assumption of responsibility is a condition of accessing and using Halethia content.
SECTION 8: NO GUARANTEES OF RESULTS
Halethia makes no guarantees, warranties, or promises — express, implied, or otherwise — regarding any specific outcome, result, benefit, improvement, or experience from the use of any Halethia content, practice, protocol, substance, or service. Individual results vary based on countless factors including but not limited to genetics, health status, age, consistency of practice, environmental factors, concurrent medical conditions, medications, psychological factors, and individual biochemistry.
Descriptions of compound effects, physiological mechanisms, and research findings within Halethia educational materials describe general biological principles documented in published research. They do not predict, guarantee, or promise that any specific individual will experience any specific effect. The fact that a compound has been shown in research to produce a particular effect under controlled conditions does not mean that every individual who encounters that compound will experience that effect in the same way, to the same degree, or at all.
Testimonials, case studies, or personal experiences shared within the Halethia community or educational materials represent the individual experiences of specific people and do not constitute guarantees that others will achieve similar results. Individual experiences are not scientific evidence and should not be interpreted as such.
SECTION 9: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND USE OF CONTENT
All content within Halethia platforms, materials, courses, and resources — including but not limited to text, research compilations, course curricula, protocols, methods, graphics, logos, trademarks, and any proprietary systems or methodologies — is the intellectual property of Halethia and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. The Halethia Aromatic Application Protocol is a proprietary method. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, or commercial use of Halethia content without express written permission is prohibited.
Halethia-certified Wellness Advocates and Practitioners are authorized to use Halethia educational content and protocols in accordance with the terms of their certification and the Halethia practitioner guidelines. This authorization does not constitute a transfer of intellectual property rights and may be revoked if the Advocate or Practitioner violates the terms of their certification, including but not limited to the prohibited conduct described in Section 4 of this disclaimer.
SECTION 10: THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND LINKS
Halethia content may reference, cite, or link to third-party sources including scientific studies, news articles, government publications, commercial products, organizations, and websites. Such references are provided for educational context only and do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or availability of any third-party content, product, or service. Halethia has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party website, organization, or service. The reader accesses third-party content at their own risk.
SECTION 11: CHANGES TO THIS DISCLAIMER
Halethia reserves the right to modify, update, or amend this disclaimer at any time without prior notice. The most current version of this disclaimer will be available on the Halethia website. Continued use of Halethia content after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is the reader’s responsibility to review this disclaimer periodically for changes.
SECTION 12: GOVERNING LAW AND SEVERABILITY
This disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States of America. If any provision of this disclaimer is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the original intent.
SECTION 13: ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By accessing, reading, using, or engaging with any Halethia content, platform, course, service, or practitioner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer in its entirety. You acknowledge that Halethia provides educational content only. You acknowledge that no Halethia content, practitioner, or service replaces the medical judgment of a licensed healthcare provider. You acknowledge that you bear full responsibility for your own health decisions and for verifying any information obtained through Halethia before acting upon it.
You further acknowledge that Halethia Wellness Advocates and Practitioners are educators and coaches operating within a strictly defined scope of practice that does not include medical diagnosis, medical treatment, medical advice, health claims, or the practice of any licensed healthcare profession. You acknowledge that any wellness practice discussed in Halethia materials is presented for educational purposes and that you will consult with your physician before implementing any such practice.
This disclaimer was last updated in 2026.
